Meet Our Team

Dr. Alexandra Tarvin

Audiologist

Dr. Alexandra Tarvin, Au.D., the founder of Elevate Audiology, is a highly skilled audiologist dedicated to personalized patient care. With expertise in evaluating and treating hearing disorders, fitting hearing aids and advising on tinnitus management, she is recognized as a leading professional in the field.
 
Dr. Tarvin earned her Doctor of Audiology from the University of South Florida and holds a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Florida.

Dr. Tarvin’s commitment to advancing audiology knowledge is showcased through her published research and presentations at state and national conferences.
 
As a certified fellow of the Tinnitus Practitioners Association and a member of the American Tinnitus Association, Dr. Tarvin specializes in tinnitus and sound sensitivity. Her dedication extends beyond clinical practice; she actively contributes to state and national professional organizations, volunteering in leadership roles and advocating for increased access to audiology services within the healthcare system at the state and federal level. She has been instrumental in developing an audiology clinic at the Samaritan Health Center in Pickens County, providing services to those that would otherwise not be able to receive them.

Recognized for her advocacy efforts, Dr. Tarvin received an award in 2017 from the Academy of Doctors of Audiology. Her passion for enhancing audiology awareness and services is demonstrated through active participation in lobbying endeavors. Originally from Queens, NY, Dr. Tarvin resides in Greenville with her husband, a veteran, their son, Miles and their dog, Colby.

Dr. Tarvin is licensed to practice in South Carolina and North Carolina.

Dr. Katelyn Ooms

Audiologist

Hailing from Albany, New York, Dr. Katelyn Ooms earned her Doctor of Audiology from East Tennessee State University following her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She completed her clinical residency with us at Elevate Audiology from 2023-2024, where she quickly became a valued member of our team.

Inspired by her early experiences learning sign language and connecting with the Deaf community, Dr. Ooms has devoted her career to serving individuals with hearing loss. She has developed a special focus on auditory processing disorders, bringing these much-needed diagnostic and treatment services to our community. Additionally, she works closely with our veterans and generously volunteers her expertise at the local Samaritan Health Clinic, providing compassionate care to underserved populations.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Ooms enjoys relaxing with her fluffy cat, Hiro, and sharing laughs with her family during online board game nights.

Khori Cioli

Doctoral Resident

Originally from Poughkeepsie, New York, Khori Cioli is pursuing her Doctor of Audiology at the State University of New York at Buffalo. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from SUNY New Paltz, where she cultivated her passion for helping others through personalized care.

With her naturally calming demeanor, Ms. Cioli brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to audiology. She has developed a particular expertise in tinnitus management, completing advanced training to support patients in navigating the challenges of tinnitus and improving their quality of life. Her dedication to counseling and creating individualized care plans allows her to connect deeply with patients, empowering them to achieve better outcomes.

When she’s not in the clinic, Ms. Cioli enjoys expressing her creativity through art and cherishing time with friends and family.

Jaymee Morgan

Patient Care Coordinator

Jaymee Morgan is our Patient Care Coordinator and Audiology Assistant. She was born in Easley and graduated from Pickens High School. Jaymee furthered her education at Greenville Technical College, where she received an associate degree in business management. She completed her Audiologist’s Assistant certificate from Nova Southeastern University in October 2023. She has several years of customer service experience as well as a passion for non-profit and volunteer work.  

 Outside of the office, you can find Jaymee spending time with her pets and partner, working on a craft project or finding new ways to enjoy the outdoors.
